The Tinker Day Pilgrimage
An annual gathering in early June, structured around Tinker Day and the remembrance of Maj. Gen. Tinker. Open to ecosystem members and partner families, by registration with the Osage Family office.
The Midway Mission
A periodic remembrance flight following the route flown by the Generalβs LB-30 Liberator in June 1942. By invitation only, and coordinated with the Air Force history office at Tinker AFB.
Headwaters Expeditions
Field expeditions retracing pieces of the Osage migration β the Ohio Valley, the Missouri, the Arkansas β usually under the auspices of the Osage Institute and led by an institute fellow.
Who goes
Members of the Family, students of Osage University and Osage Academy, fellows of the Institute, and invited partners. We do not run a public itinerary; this is small-group work.
